(DARK SOULS pt.2) Asylum pt.2

Hello again and welcome to second part of my Dark Souls guide, last time we went over character creation and faced the Asylum Demon and some of you went out victorious while others decided run or finally get themselves some personal life.
And today we'll be going through second part of the asylum, and we will finally progress further into the game.

So the last time we left right next to that long room with the archer, so let's check it out.





The order game gives you is pretty straight forward and not so hard to achieve, and well you look at that, it's the shield your character had in class selection. It looks like the game is finally going in your favor. 




Oh ye defiantly your favor.


And now one fog wall later and... here we are.




 I think this is the part where the game tries to teach you that white fog could mean that there's new area ahead so we better remember that. 



We can see somebody behind the bars from here but we can't get to them and from up here we can see that bonfire from earlier and also that door that was locked so maybe lets go to the left first. 


Theres a dead and here and the item we can't reach, but don't worry we'll get it eventually.





hehe...ohh I love Darks Souls so much.



Well at least that boulder made a hole in the room that guy was in, oh and before you enter I have to tell you something, DON'T ATTACK HIM because ladies and gentlemen I present you the first NPC of your playthrough OSCAR OF ASTORA!


But hey! We actually know him his the same knight that helped us out earlier, and now he needs us to help him. He asks you if you like to listen to his tale, and then proceeds to tell really long family saying that's really just a foreshadowing of what we have to do. Then he gives you Estus Flask and Undead Asylum F2 East Key, if you defeated Asylum demon at your first meeting he will also give you Big Pilgrim's Key but we will use all of that later.



But hey maybe now with that key we could ope...




Well that's sad, anyway using the key we can unlock the locked door next to the bonfire and now we all knows what we have to do next.


(in a distant) F%$K! 
 
Well let's try and see what was upstairs, shall we? 


And would you look at that there's the next door here. 



And here game tells you how to preform three actions.


Two handing, 




Kicking and jump attack




And quick info about kick, if you kick enemy holding a shield while their blocking you will be able to break their poise and riposte them dealing massive damage.

We go further straight and we can see a new enemy and two new mechanics



Back stabbing 


And parrying
 


Both dealing massive damage with parrying dealing more damage than backstabbing but being harder to pull off.
And there's another door here so maybe...


(Inhales) Ah who gives the sh*t.

Finally the plunge.


So now we enter the white fog and...

(Read while watching)
Oh we already know how this one is going, let's repeat what we couldn't do earlier, go for a run and...!  


Look at that damage! 
Now it's all about you friend and when you finally succeed


we can take that key and finally open the giant door. 

Hey even the game gives you compliments. 

But before we do that after you go straight for a little bit turn left and behind that wall and you will get yourself a Soul Of Lost Undead.



And if you go right you will find a nest containing bird named snuggly with whom you can trade some items but right now you can't really give him anything.


And now go straight, and congratulations friend you officially begun your adventure in the land of Lordran.




Well finally you did it, after this post there will be one already waiting for you talking about some mechanics I think you should now before you do anything when you get to your destined location, but for now I hope you'll have the great rest of the day, bye.
