(DARK SOULS pt.1) Asylum part.1

So you have the game you spent the last 5 minutes on the starting screen and you'r ready to go...

BUT YOU'R NOT

STOP THINKING THAT YOU ARE

THIS

IS DARK SOULS

YOU ARE NEVER READY IN THIS GAME

You copy that? GREAT :)  So let's get started.

But before that, you need to know. There is one challenge harder than everything in this game, taking some players  WEEKS to overcome and it is... A CHARACTER CREATION!

see link below before progressing any further into this post!

Ok you're back now. So let's get started.

At the start of the game you get a little cutscene which I will show here because there is LORE and it's VERY IMPORTANT so watch carefully.

That's what I would say IF I COULD LOAD THE DAMN THING. The video is like three minutes long but Blogger just can't do it. So here: (3600) Dark Souls: Full Prologue - YouTube.  It's the link to the trailer I literally don't know what else I could do.

But hey, at least now you are finally ready to start.

After that big cutscene you get a smaller one that says a little bit about what's going on now.

And hey well ya look at that it's YOU! Sitting in a cage waiting for death like everything in this word.

When the great knight in a shining armor comes to rescue, and you may not believe it but it's actually what happens in this game. Make sure to say thank you. See you later great knight.

And know we can finally start playing. So first what you want to do is pick up the key from the corpse and open your cell.

Now the game will teach you the basics:

Attacking

Movement

Camera controls

Also am I the only person who hears this sound? What the f#$k isssss...

Let's not think about it for now.

After you learn how to lock on the enemies climb up the ladder to your right.

At the top you will be introduced to the very important mechanic in this game BONFIRES.

Simply lit them and then rest on them, for now there's nothing else you can do with them but we'll get to their functions later :)

I think now is a great time to talk about very important part of the game, which is EXPLORATION. The tutorial itself says nothing about it probably because DS1 isn't very open game a sets you on some type of  track, but that doesn't mean you can just walk in straight line forever. This game has all sorts of NPC questlines, additional bosses and equipment set all around the games world. But now you might be thinking "If exploration is so important, where's the sense of following the guide?"  well you see Dark Souls is a very difficult game. It has hard to go through areas, tuff bosses and lots of annoying enemies.
If you want to play the game yourself GO FOR IT this guide is for help with some things that aren't really obvious, when you get top some difficult boos or place you can just look here for help, you don't have to follow the guide to do that I will be going through entire game, simply go here and look for the part you have trouble with and then be on your very way to complete the game yourself.

Gee that was long, well any who let's get back to the game.
You have three ways to go now:
-Right where you will see a closed door (note that in your brain)
-Left to the wall
-And finally straight, right to the giant door

(Read while watching video)

Who knows what's behind that door, who knows If you already aren't messing something up, MAYBE this is the part when you learn about ambushes, MAYBE THIS is your first boss fight, MAYBE YOU could find the key to that locked door and be on your very way, MAYB... oh it's just a big room of course it's just a tutorial, get yourself together you don't even know how to dodGEEEEEEE WHAT THE F@#$K IS THIS SH%#?!

YOU FOOL have you ACTULLY thought that you are save? This is DARK SOUL and that's a giant room. "Well does it indicate that every big room contains a boos fight?" NO IT DOESN'T in fact in some boss fights you will prau that developers made decision to make the room bigger by 1x1 square root AND SO THEY WOULDN"T MAKE THE DOGS SO FAST SO YOU COULD HIT THE DAM.... oh right you are having your first boss fight, wait exactly look at this like that YOUR first boss fight you're not afraid of this guy turn your surprise into adrenaline YOUR HYPED so you go for the run AND...

Well this won't be fun, so bear with me and let's go through this together.

At this point you probably already respawn or got back from quick rage quit so let's see what we can do here. Now there are four paths you can take, with one being exclusively enabled depending on starting gift you chosen.

The first option revolves around that door some of you probably already seen

and also being a cowardly b#@%h with no honor whatsoever and just run to safety. After that the door closes making you unable to hit him but also him to hit you, fair trade.

We will stop the guide right there though, why? You see that? Thats a very important mechanic right there. When you reenter the area you probably noticed there's that weird thingy in the place you died, it's called a blood stain, what does it do? If you collect it, it will retrieve all of your souls which is nice, it has the other mechanic though, when you play in online mode the blood stains will be left by other people who died in their world, you can interact with this blood stains giving you somewhat view on the way they died, helping you prevent the same thing happening to you. And that'll be it let's get back to the guide.

The second one depending on the gift you chose is to get there like a man and throw firebombs at him because for some reason the Asylum Demon let me repeat DEMON is weak to fire.

He dies in a few hits. Neat'o   you see what I did there? Better get used to that it's one of the best jokes you can make with this game.

The third one is to be an absolute menace, a GOLDEN player and just go there and BEAT THE LIVING SH%$ out of him with your FISTS.

How long does it take? Well let's do a quick math shall we? Asylum demon has over 825 hp and your fists do 2 dmg, divide 825 by 2 and you'll get 412.5 round it up and we have the answer which is 413 hits to beat him with your fists.

Now the fourth secret path can be done by pressing a combination of keys on your keyboard and your controller if you're playing on PS. The combination is fairly simple and it goes as following:

On keyboard press Alt+F4 and on PS the playstation symbol, left and x. Close the game, refund it and go outside, find yourself friends a partner, start doing some interesting hobbies in your free time so that you won't end up making a Dark Souls guide blog SO THAT YOUR IT TEACHER WON"T FAIL YOU...(distant sobbing) THE F%#K YOU LOOKING AT?!

Well anyway for the people that chose path Nr. one, at the time you realize what fuss you are the peaple from path two should be at the same place you are and ones from path three...

we won't see them for a while. But if you decided to kill Asylum Demon with firebombs, to addition of being victorious you also go a demos great hamer, which not only heavy but can also hit like one, the only problem is to hit like a train, you need to be able to wield one, don't worry you'll get there eventually. Well looks like there's nothing left to do than sit at the bonfire knowing that you successfully finished  the first part af the Northen Asylum guide, but worry not I will made a second part as fast as I can I promise.

Oh wait there's a room right there, well it doesn't hurt to see what's next

You got it... it's that meme that was made... wait when was it made? (Looks it up) February 18th 2018?! It was really four years ago? That feels kind of sad,... ah who gives the sh*t hope you'll have amazing rest of the day, bye.
